About the Author

I am a 30+ year veteran in the world of professional sales.  I have had the pleasure of working with incredibly talented people that consistently demonstrate excellence. 

I grew up in the great state of NJ before going to college at Clemson University in SC. I lived in Charlotte, NC before moving to the Twin Cities of MN.  This geographic diversity along with my professional and personal travels has allowed me to experience very different cultures and traditions of behavior.

Personally, I have been married to my wife Amy for 25+ years and we have 3 very successful children. I have been active in their youth sports as a coach which has exposed me equally to some of the best and worst in people.

My experiences led me to realize there are many people out there struggling to find better ways to connect with others and deal with the challenges in today's society.

Professional salespeople have learned interpersonal communication skills that are sorely needed in society today. The civility of public discourse is the lowest I've ever seen it with people polarized and unable to connect with others. 

Unfortunately, our schools, institutions and many businesses are not teaching communication skills effectively in simple terms people can relate to. Through this blog, my upcoming book and other speaking events, I will share 5 key points that will dramatically improve your everyday outcomes. 

My goal is to connect with 'everyday people' not just business professionals. I will share advice on how the lessons of professional Sales can help you better navigate family, friends, work and all your everyday endeavors. Thank you for tuning in!
